Subnautica: Below Zero is the sequel of the original Subnautica that comes with new gameplay elements and features. Among these new features are vehicles that players can craft to enable them to delve deeper or branch further into the waters or alien planet.
Subnautica: Below Zero has provided vehicles for players to explore and transport with other players. What’s more, crafting these vehicles is easy on the alien planet. You might want to get vehicles of your own casually or complete your vehicle collection. Here’s how to get or create vehicles in Subnautica: Below Zero.
Are there any vehicles in Subnautica: Below Zero?
Yes, there are vehicles in Subnautica: Below Zero. They are available when the player gets their respective blueprints and fragments.
There are three vehicles available in the game, namely the Prawn Suit, Seatruck, and the Snowfox.
How do you get vehicles in Subnautica: Below Zero?
Vehicles are crafted by players using the Mobile Vehicle Bay except for the Snowfox because it has a dedicated crafting station. You require Mobile Vehicle Bay fragments to set up the crafting station before starting vehicle building.
You can find them in areas around the Arctic Kelp Forest, Arctic Kelp Caves, and the Twisty Bridges. The fastest place to get three Mobile Vehicle Bay fragments is in a cave network on the east-southeast of the drop pod.
Like any other machine or station in Subnautica, you need the Mobile Vehicle Bay blueprint before constructing the station. You can unlock it by scanning three individual fragments collected in the biomes.
What are all the vehicles in Subnautica: Below Zero?
There are four vehicles that you can craft in the Subnautica: Below Zero, namely the Seatruck, Spawn Suit, Snowfox, Cyclops, and the Hoverbike. The Seatruck is a modular submarine that can act as a mini-sub and a mobile sea base. It operates on energy cells and has its own oxygen supply.
Cyclops in Subnautica: Below Zero is a submarine run by the player and can store a Seamoth or a Prawn Suit. It features different speed levels and can be used as a mobile base.
Snowfox is a land vehicle that enables faster travel. It is strictly for zooming around the artic terrain and cannot function over or underwater. If installed with the Snowfox Fox Module, the Snowfox can jump on land. Prawn Suit is a bipedal mechanical walker whose purpose is to explore deep areas and zero-gravity zones. As long as the machine has energy, it will have oxygen in the Prawn Suit.
The advantage of these vehicles is that you can upgrade them when you can. They also help you travel through diverse biomes and protect you against monsters in the water.
