In Subnautica: Below Zero, you collect many resources such as weapons, technology, and blueprints to survive. However, to bring these blueprints to life, players require minerals to craft items required for the game. Therefore, even though the game provides a map of where to find them, you should know these locations.
Some advanced recipes require special minerals such as silver. While exploring at the beginning of the game, you may be lucky enough to find bits of silver ores, but if you want more, you need to know the best places to get them.
We’ll show you where to find silver in Subnautica: Below Zero and how you can use it.

You can get large silver deposits in Subnautica: Below Zero at Koppa Mining Site, the Arctic Spires, Crystal Caves, Lilypads Crevice, and the Lilypad Islands. The Koppa Mining Site is under the Delta Station and is accessed through a partially collapsed entrance.
On the other hand, the Artic Spires is a biome above water and cannot be accessed without a Laser Cutter or Hydraulic Fluid. When you get there, you will notice a large meteorite crater. There you mine large deposits of Silver Ore and Titanium.

Despite being playfully hostile since they like stealing your tools, they are good sources of rare materials like Silver Ore as you progress.
Uses of silver in Subnautica: Below Zero
Silver can be used to craft fabricator and upgrade the Scanner Room’s speed. They are also used in four crafting recipes, but it is most important to craft high-capacity oxygen tanks. The oxygen tank requires some titanium and fiber mesh to craft. But some silver upgrades it and increases the amount of oxygen.
Other items that require silver ore in Subnautica: Below Zero are the ion battery, the Parallel Processing Unit, and the wiring kit. The high-capacity tanks give you more freedom when you explore the frozen depths of the sea.
